Ancient Egypt: the Beloved Land
Altair-TV, Cultural association “New Acropolis”, 2005

For a long time now I’ve been travelling to Egypt almost every year. I try to forget who I am at present and to remember only that I’m a philosopher and that my soul perhaps existed before the pyramids were built, and that it will continue to exist when all traces of them have vanished. I simply wander across the ancient land of Egypt, trying to see and to hear. The ancient Egyptians called it “Ta Meri”- the Beloved Land. From that peace, amidst the colossal remains of the “great shipwreck” of that mysterious civilization one can still understand certain things which are  not taught in the books that are written nowadays and, what is more important, one can live them (fragment of the script)
